Massage

Here’s what a massage session is like …

Each session is individualized to your dog’s needs.  Canine Massage, HTA Energy Healing and Reiki sessions are scheduled in the privacy of your home; there is less stress when dogs are in their own environment. I also conduct distance energy healing sessions if an in-person session isn’t available. Whenever I am doing canine massage and (hands on energy healing) I assess your dog’s needs first. A typical first session can run anywhere from half an hour to a full hour or more depending on your dog’s tolerance and acceptance.

Canine Massage example

A session begins with a discussion of your dog’s overall health, activity level and specific concerns. An overall assessment includes gentle touch using the laying on of hands checking for areas of sensitivity or discomfort.  I use energy healing techniques to assess if there are any energy blockages in the Chakras. Depending on your what your dog may need, I use a combination of massage, energy healing, Reiki, tuning forks (sound therapy) and Young Living therapeutic essential oils (if you would like), which are the highest grade oils that I use for myself, my dogs, and my dog clients.

Each session is determined by your dog.  If your dog decides that he/she has had enough or becomes an unwilling participant, we will stop. I can always use energy healing, which can be done off the body. I want this to be a positive experience for your dog.  It is important that the experience of massage and energy healing session is a pleasant one and I want to leave on an upbeat note. After the session please make sure that there is plenty of water around  to drink.  Your dog may also need to go outside to eliminate his/her bladder more frequently than usual.  After the session we will take some time to discuss how the session went and making plans for the future.
